Gary Telleen Gary is a Registered Piano Technician who has over 35 years experience in Piano Technology. He received his Bachelors in music from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas and his Masters from Northern Arizona University in Arizona. He owned and operated Classic Piano Restoration in Arizona for 21 years before moving to Kansas. In Kansas Gary founded both Craftsman Piano Service and Wichita Piano Services. Gary is a member of the Wichita chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Isaiah Dowds Isaiah was born in Germany as a military child but has spent most of his life in the Midwest. Isaiah apprenticed with Gary Telleen, RPT in piano technology after marrying into the family. Isaiah has been in the Army Reserves for 12 years in addition to working on pianos.
Josh Hermes Josh is a native of Hutchinson, KS. Surrounded by music at a young age, he decided to seek a Music Education degree at Fort Hays State University. After graduating, he moved with his wife to Kansas City where he received a Master’s degree in Trombone Performance. He taught music and band briefly in the Wichita area before pursuing a career as a piano technician with Wichita Piano. He has enjoyed learning from mentors Isaiah Dowds and Gary Telleen, RPT. Josh is also a member of the Wichita chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
John Telleen John was born into the piano industry. He has moved pianos since his early teens and has been to 47/50 states, thanks to long distance piano moves. After graduating high school he became a barber at a barbershop in McPherson for four years before deciding to return to the family business. John is a very experienced piano mover, a shop assistant, and is currently apprenticing to be a technician. John is married with one young child.

Trevor Penner
Trevor grew up and lives in the Hillsboro, KS area. He studied piano at the Tabor College Music Preparetory School for 13 years. His passion for making music at the piano combined with an insatiable curiosity for how things work led to a pursuit of piano technology as a career. He is apprenticing with Gary Telleen, RPT and looks forward to expanding his skills. Trevor is a member of the Wichita chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.

Rebecca (Telleen) Dowds Rebecca is a homeschool graduate and holds a Bachelors in Business Management from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. She has been around the piano industry since birth. She has spent many years helping out in the rebuilding shop as well as moving pianos - her favorite part of the business! Rebecca, in addition to working with Wichita Piano, is a homeschooling mom to four young children and involved in her local church.
