Wichita Piano Services is a second-generation, family-owned piano company providing professional piano tuning, repair, moving, restoration, and player piano services throughout Kansas and beyond.
Our roots in the piano industry span more than 40 years, beginning with Registered Piano Technician Gary Telleen and continuing today with the second generation of our family and a growing team of piano technicians.
What began with just piano tuning has grown into a full-service piano company with four Registered Piano Technicians, a complete rebuilding shop, professional piano moving services, player piano expertise, and technicians serving communities throughout Central Kansas.
Through continued education, hands-on training, and mentorship, our goal is not only to provide exceptional care for today's pianos, but also to help preserve the craft of piano technology for the next generation.

Operations Manager & Scheduling Coordinator
Rebecca Dowds
Hello! I’m Rebecca, the daughter of Gary Telleen. My brother John and I represent the second generation of Wichita Piano Services. From an early age I was immersed in the family business - from going on piano tuning days with my dad (reading my book or doing homework while listening to him tune a customer’s piano), working in the restoration shop, or going on piano moves - my absolute favorite part of the business! I hold a Bachelors from Bethany College in Business Management. In 2019 I took over running the daily operations of the family business.
I am a member of the Wichita chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild and have served as an instructor at the Piano Technicians Guild National Convention.
